Notworking to Networking

Hugo Mills gives a short talk on TCP/IP networking for beginners. The talk covers IP addresses, subnets, gateways and routers. The content is suitable for anyone looking to set up a home network and much of the theory also applies to Microsoft Windows networks.

See http://www.hantslug.org.uk/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?TechTalks for more details and copies of the presentation that accompanied the talk. This talk was given at the Hampshire Linux User Group (HantsLUG) meeting on 4th February 2006 at Southampton University.
